Life Lab is Growing!

Life Lab is more than doubling the number of students we serve in Santa Cruz County, from 4,000 before the pandemic to over 10,000 students this fall. 

In Pajaro Valley alone, we now have Garden Instructors and outdoor garden classrooms in 13 of 16 elementary schools, and by next year, we will be in all 16 elementary schools. 

We are thrilled to welcome 5 new Garden Instructors to our Pajaro Team: Tania Cooley at Starlight and Emeril’s Culinary Garden and Teaching Kitchen, Leah Creatura at Valencia and afterschool at Mar Vista, Aimée Mizuno at Ann Soldo, Ryan Garcia at Freedom, and Rylan Hunt joins our team at Rio Del Mar Elementary (pictured above from left to right).
