June 7th - Hall District School Flower Planting and Irrigation Installation
Today we planted flowers with first graders and continued irrigaiton installation
May 31 - Hall District School Irrigation Installation / Popcorn and Dry Bean Planting
Today we planted seeds with kindergartners and install irrigation
May 24 - Amesti School Garden Bird Netting and Planting Day
Today we installed bird netting onto 5 beds and had some students help us plant on the empty beds.
May 17 - Ann Soldo School Garden Teepee Making, Planting and Irrigation Day
Today with the help from a couple of students we made two teepees and planted some peas along the bottom of the teepees. A couple of students also helped us work on establishing the popcorn field by helping move the dirt around and planting some corn, we also added some irrigation to the new popcorn field.
May 10 - Ann Soldo School Garden Irrigation and Planting Day
Today we installed a drip irrigation system on all the garden beds and around the garden to water the perennials we planted awhile back. We also got help from a couple of students and we planted lettuce and spinach in the garden beds also the students helped weed around the garden.
May 3 - Amesti School Garden Planting and Clearing-Out Day
Today we cleared out the garden beds as we prepared for grade level planting. We got help from a kindergarten and 2nd grade class, they did a great job helping us clear out the beds and planting peas in bed number one and around the tepee.
April 26 - Radcliffe School Garden Clean Up and Perennial Planting
Today we weeded all of the garden beds, filled two beds up with soil and planted 9 perennials in 5 garden beds.
April 19 - Amesti School Garden Teaching Kit Prep and Landmark School Irrigation
Landmark Irrigation
Today we organized the greenhouse and stocked lesson cabinets with materials. We also set up garden library and installed irrigation timer at Landmark School.
