College Students Ignite a Love For Learning in Children

We see it all the time–adorable children’s faces lighting up around college student mentors.

It’s pure magic. Kids look with admiration and awe at college students who are working alongside them in the garden. Meanwhile college students become inspired to become garden educators who change the way children see the world, science, and nature.

And voila, the spark ignites an internship program!

This year, we aim to empower 85-100 more college students, extending their reach to every corner of the county, with a special emphasis on the Pajaro Valley.
